chris baker   VICE PRESIDENT & MEMBERSHIP RECRUITER ~ Chris Baker

I've being a San Diego resident for over 25 years; two of those were spent living in the Marina District downtown in 2007-2009.  I fell in love!  This year my husband & I celebrated 15 years of marriage, which we view as quite an accomplishment when raising four children in a blended family.   After working in the insurance industry for 20 years I was fortunate to take some valuable time off when my children were in middle & high school and discovered the wonderful, fulfilling world of volunteering.  I ran various school/sports related programs including high school registration, book fairs, PTA volunteer coordinator.  In 2006 I started a second career as a Realtor and now work for Willis Allen specializing in the downtown urban market & Coronado.

I have been in the Urban Development industry since 1070 and been involved in a variety of projects, from large master-planned communities to small infill projects.  I have experience in timeshares, conversions, high-rise condominiums, mixed use buildings, as well as some of the "new" types of condominiums, such as "cloud", "dirtless" and phased "air-space envelope". I can advise clients with subdivisions even though they may be exempt from filing with the DRE, but may still need subdivision expertise.
